ROOTS & BLOOMS FLOWER FARM
This year we decided to make a big decision, to buy land in Sonoma County and plant a cut flower and medicinal herb farm. “Blooms” has always been in the name of the company but we never knew how it was going to come to life. After surviving two years of global supply chain disruptions because of the pandemic, we knew we needed to get creative about how to keep a steady flow of our raw ingredients. That’s when we decided to finally take the big step forward to grow these beautiful plants ourselves, a true sustainable solution!
FARM-TO-FACE SKINCARE
Currently our soil samples have been sent to UC Davis analytical lab. Once results come back, we will have a detailed report including cool information on the trace minerals the soil has or may be lacking and what type of organic enhancements may be beneficial. The health of all plants starts with the soil. We are excited to be surrounded by the best viticulturist’s here deep in the middle of wine country to help with any and all questions.
Welcome to the start of the farm
Our farm is located in Healdsburg, CA. We are waiting for the last frost date before we can put the special seeds in the ground. With the current weather predictions it looks like this will be the first week of March! We’re very excited! In the meantime we have been busy sowing and nurturing the seeds.
